We had to play this styled session by ear up until the very last minute. It had stormed much of this Monday but I was way too excited to give up too early! I am so glad we kept it on because it was so much fun and a great time to shoot. Rachel and Hunter had just found out they are PREGNANT the night before so we did a few fun pregnancy announcement photos sprinkled in! What do I love about their outfits, you ask? The light blue on Hunter photographs so well and I love the color of Rachel’s dress. Light colors photograph beautifully and give more of a natural feel than bright reds and oranges (which can mess with editing skin tones as well). Rachel’s black skirt in her second outfit adds texture and dimension while still staying classic and stylish! Also, there is not much that I love more than a white collard shirt- so classic and almost always a great complimentary piece! Photo sessions are the perfect time to dress up and wear something you would not normally wear so have fun with it!! 😀

Congratulations, Rachel and Hunter, on your little bundle of joy coming!!! I cannot wait to meet him or her!!
