The Branigans are such a sweet and adorable family! They are so easy going and I knew from the moment we met that it was going to be a fun and interesting session full of some serious cuteness. We instantly connected over being recently guided to new things in life. Brandon is going to seminary at Liberty University instead of a career in the military, Cassandra is reconsidering a new career path, and I started a photography business. These things were not what we had forseen for our lives but what wonderful changes for all of us!

Their two children, Immanuel and Isabel, were not sure about the camera at first, but there was a cookie promise involved that proved very desirable! These babies had the BEST baby curls which are one of my FAVORITE things! I so hope one of my children have curls like these two, but I am not sure where that would come from. Neither Blake nor I have curls on either side of our family. We shall see! 😉

The light was perfect right outside their apartment so we stopped right away to get our first shots. It did not take long for Immanuel to decide that candid pictures were a lot more fun  to take and I couldn’t agree more. I followed him as he climbed the stairs and ran around smiling and having fun. That made for some adorable shots! As we moved closer to their nearby lake (which included ducks) the kids were more energized and comfortable. Immanuel ran around and jumped in his mom and dad’s arms, and Isabel decided that I was not too scary and showed those cute little teeth. They were troopers! It was such fun to capture this time and freeze these memories in a photo. Enjoy this fun family session!
