This Boston trip was so much fun. The city is filled with such rich history and we loved going all around. Traveling with Cal was a little stressful but we figured out the best way to vacation with him while seeing as much as possible. Our home base was the Copley Square Hotel. They accommodated us so well and were super helpful as we came and went all day. It was raining and cold the entire time we were there but we did’t let that stop us. We enjoyed lovely food from all over Boston including the oldest continually operating restaurant in America. Ye Olde Oyster House is celebrating 190 years this year!! It was the best seafood I have ever had and the waitresses loved Cal. 🙂 We enjoyed doing the Duck Tours which is where the buses actually go in the Charles River! Cal even got to drive the bus when we were in the water. It was super fun and a great way to get an overview of the whole city. We also jumped on the freedom trail at the Boston Commons and saw the Statehouse, an amazing sculpture of the African American unit that fought in the Civil War (the one depicted in the movie, Glory), and Beacon Hill. I loved photographing some cute doorways that I found. The trip was so great but were glad to come back home to Columbus. We saw so many other things in Boston so enjoy some of the photos from our trip and see where else we went! 🙂
