I am so excited to give a tour of my newborn and growing photography studio! It has been a dream of mine for a long time. Lugging all the newborn equipment and wraps to each session did a number on me so I actually stepped back from newborn sessions for a while. Until now!! Bring me alllll the babies. π
My new studio is located in the historic district of downtown Columbus at 627 Second Avenue in an old school building housing local artists and small businesses. I am in the old principal’s office- suite 9- which I think is so fun. I have amazing tall windows, charming era specific molding around the room, and wood flooring. I have a beautiful tree outside my second story windows and it feels like nature is almost inside. I also love plants so I make sure I have some around the room to feel cozy.
I have curated and carefully chosen each piece I have in the studio. I have just the right amount of space for what I need and I fill it with natural textures, neutral colors, and wood tones. I have a beautiful moses basket and crib to utilize during newborn and growing sessions as well as a bean bag I bust out for those sleepy newborn shots. I am a big believer in consistency in my work and lightening the load of my clients. This led me to plan and purchase a client wardrobe for baby! If you donβt want to bring a thing to our session- great! I have you covered. I include photos of some pieces which I think are darling!
