Zora is actually almost one month old here! I took photos of her sweet parents this fall while she was still baking and now she is here. Time flies! She loves snuggling with mom and dad and wore an heirloom gown that her grandmother wore as a newborn. How special! Welcome, Zora. You are so beautiful!

I have loved my 2022 studio sessions! I started off this year with a New Year’s Day newborn session and have been enjoying photographing tiny noses and toes in the comfort of my warm studio during these winter months. Having this studio makes such a difference in the quality of my work. I know my light and I have everything we need to make sure baby stays warm and comfortable to give beautiful and timeless images. I love what I do. It is a joy when I get to my studio and start getting ready for a session. I love choosing great wraps that I know photograph beautifully and don’t take away from baby’s unique features. I have bonnets, bows, and outfits- all tasteful, muted, and calming. I know what I want to capture to make sure we have a strong gallery and don’t miss a thing!

The 3 words I have stuck to for the past 6 years are modern, simple, and natural. This comes out most in my newborn sessions. I don’t do a lot props and no themes, but I believe this makes the focus solely on sweet baby. Hooray! To check out my studio click here.
