The weather here in Columbus has been wonderful for the past week or two. I very much enjoy winters in Georgia because we get little glimpses of spring every so often and it makes me so happy!! However, the day we shot Ellie’s one year old surprise session, the winter weather had returned with a vengeance- I should say that the winter wind returned with a vengeance. It was so cold but little Ellie in her tutu was not phased one bit. She sat right down at our first place to shoot and started clapping! I was so impressed. We shot quickly and efficiently with blanket breaks. It was so much fun! I loved that this session was a gift from Staci’s mother and father to her and Clay. What a thoughtful and lasting gift to give!! <3 Staci was supposed to be out of town but stayed back with the beloved stomach bug. I am so glad she did (not that I was happy she was sick) because I LOVE the images I captured between her and Ellie. What we did not know at Ellie’s 6 month session was that Clay and Staci were pregnant! They are expecting their second little girl in the next few months! Ellie will be a such a great big sister to have. Happy first birthday, Ellie!! You are such a joyful little one and I love your clapping!! 🙂
