I get such positive feedback from clients when I share my style guide so I want to give everyone an idea of what my style guide actually is! It is a digital magazine full of helpful information and example images to make your session as stress-free and beautiful as it can be. In my style guide I talk about topics ranging from how we choose our location in Columbus to coordinating the family’s outfits. I give tips “for her” and “for him” that help to best flatter features and give an editorial feel. At the end I give you a great checklist to help your brain relax and give you confidence that you won’t forget anything. I know everyone has so much going on and it is important that I help my clients get the most out of their time with me. I have photographed hundreds of sessions so I feel confident that I have the knowledge that can make a session feel relaxing and worth the investment.

Here is a little excerpt from my “For Her” section on dresses:

“When considering the length of your dresses or skirts, it’s also a good idea to factor in whether or not there will be little ones in your photos. If you have smaller children, I’ll likely have you sitting or crouching on the ground to interact up-close with them. Cute, shorter cocktail-length dresses photograph beautifully, but if you have little ones in your photos, a floor-length dress or skirt, or perhaps a cute midi-skirt, will make moving around with your kids much easier, and look perfect on camera, too.”

I want to help my clients think through what will work best for them no matter if they have children running around, a baby bump, or a new little one to hold. This is what I believe does just that! **My style guide comes with all collections excluding mini sessions.
