There are very few times I have teared up at a session. However, this session has made me tear up a few times even since. Jennifer is not just an insanely beautiful mommy, she has such a beautiful story. She was so sweet to share it with me! Jennifer and Trevor went through IVF and were blessed to get pregnant on their first try. It is such a joyous time but there is a bitter part of this story. Jennifer’s mother is not here to see this sweet baby enter the world. She passed away with neuroendocrine carcinoid of the appendix in 2011.  On the way to one of her treatments she mentioned to a friend that she did not feel she would be around for Jennifer to have a baby. She decided at that point to hand make an afghan for this future baby and gave it to this friend for safekeeping. Jennifer received this sweet and beautiful present from her mother at a baby shower over 5 years later!!! And the tears start flowing… The thoughtfulness and love of Jennifer’s mother is so touching to me. Being a mom I feel this so deeply. You want to care for your children even after death and Jennifer’s mother did it in such a tangible way. She loved her grandchild before he was even known. This little one is coming into this world with two older sisters, Hannah and Halleigh, and is so loved already! Congratulations Woods family!! Your little one is super blessed to have you!!
